The Nurses Ministry of St. Alphonsa Parish is a compassionate group of dedicated nurses and healthcare professionals committed to serving the physical and spiritual well-being of our faith community. Rooted in the healing ministry of Jesus Christ, we bridge the gap between faith and health by providing support, and care to our parishioners.

Our Vision

Our vision is to foster a healthy, vibrant parish and community where every member feels supported in their journey toward physical wellness and spiritual wholeness.  We offer a ministry of presence, lifting up the suffering in prayer and sharing the hope of Christ’s love with every parishioner. We conduct sale of religious stuffs like Holy Bible, rosary, prayer books etc. Our Nurses ministry  comprises of Spiritual Director and nine members.

Coordinator/Treasurer

• Plan, coordinate and facilitate all activities with the regional service team.
• Conduct monthly regional service team meeting.
• Coordinate prayer meeting with service team members at the  parish level.
• Provide support to the pariah level
• Attends national service team meeting and provides feed back to  the region.
• Support different  activities of the Ministry.
• Coordinate with the national coordinator.

Assist- Coordinator

• Support coordinator and perform all duties of the coordinator in  her absence.

Secretary

• To plan the service team meeting agenda with coordinator and  arrange.
• Maintain minutes of the meetings.
• Submit the report to the coordinator.

Responsibilities

All ministries should support one another and serve the ministry activities.

Intercession   In charge 

• Nurse ministry has 3 main intentions as it is a Servant Ministry.
• To pray for the catholic church, Pope, Bishops, Priests, and Nuns……
• To pray for all Nurses around the world.
• To pray for the leaders of the Nurses ministry.
• To arrange, follow up & coordinate a person every day to pray for the above intention.
• To pray for the needs of the mother parish as well as the intentions of nurses.
• Coordinate and facilitate according to the National and international intercession programs.

 Formation   In charge

• Plan and arrange the  services at the parish level or through Zoom. Welcome ministry can join with them to invite new nurses to the gathering.
• Coordinate with the National and International programs.

 Outreach In charge 

• Reach out and extend our helping hands to nurses who need support in their lives as well as their spiritual lives. 

Media  Incharge

• To collect testimonies,  write-ups, videos, and pictures of our programs.
• Coordinate with National and     International programs.

Music Ministry 

• Supports area gatherings and national programs as needed.

 National Representative 

• Hold a position according to the decision and selection of the national team.
