Badminton Tournament (SAS)

The SAS Badminton Tournament, hosted by the SAS Club on April 25, 2026, at Huron Heights Secondary School in Kitchener, was a tremendous success that brought together badminton enthusiasts from across the community for a full day of competition, fellowship, and sportsmanship. The tournament welcomed 135 players and featured an impressive 176 matches throughout the day. Participants competed across several divisions, including Open Men’s Doubles (MD), Men’s Singles (MS), Mixed Doubles (XD), Women’s Doubles (WD), 30+ Men’s and Women’s Doubles, 50+ Men’s Doubles, and the 18 and Under Boys’ and Girls’ Doubles divisions. Each category showcased outstanding talent, teamwork, determination, and enthusiasm from players of all ages and skill levels. Cash prizes were awarded across all event categories. More than just a tournament, the event served as an opportunity for members of the community to connect, encourage one another, and celebrate unity through sports. A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the organizers, volunteers, referees, sponsors, players, and supporters whose hard work and dedication made the tournament such a memorable and successful event.
